open shop - jun 2008
On June 7, 2008, the Central Ohio Woodturners visited Don's & Sharon's home for an open house, shop tour & segmenting demonstrations, picnic, and toy turn-a-thon as a ReTurn to the Community project for the Children's Hospital of Richmond VA, site of the 22nd annual national AAW Symposium.
Thanks go to the Club leaders who helped make the day possible, the many good folks who came and went throughout the day and contributed to the yummy food and dessert tables, and to those dedicated turners who turned toys for the children - they kept those lathes a-hummin' for sure! We appreciate the efforts of all who made the day a great success!
